Moving and Getting Settled

I know, it has been a very long time since my last post. To be honest, we've been so darn busy, I'm not sure where the last 3 weeks have gone. So, we packed up the rental house and moved into our new house. I say new, but new to us, its about 35 years old.

We had lots of help moving day and it made the process so much more fun. The children were visiting their grandparents in Georgia so it was much easier with them not under foot. I took a few photos as we moved things in but haven't taken much since then.

All the while unpacking and getting settled, we've been on a few trips as well. Will took the women's golf team to a tournament in Nashville and I attended a conference called Catalyst in Atlanta with my office gang. Then also, Will and I took a late anniversary trip to Nashville, just the 2 of us. It was great, we did nothing but shopped and ate out at restaurants. We don't get to hang out just the 2 of us very often so it was great for us.




Everything was in disarray for what it feels like for weeks but all in all we got what we needed unpacked in a hurry. We tried to get all the toys out etc. before the kids came back and the kitchen is a must with 6 people that need to eat.



I really do need to post some other stuff about the house. There is plenty of room for the kids to play and we've even made a new friend across the street. My kids already love him and they've only been playing together about a week and a half.

So, there's more to come with the new house and Will has been fixing several things. Since its an older home, we are changing and painting and replacing etc. etc. We painted our bedroom the other night, we are preparing for new carpet so we've got to get the painting done before than can happen. So if you love to paint, then come on over. I'll cook while you paint! Just kidding.

My favorite part of moving into a new house is actually deciding where to hang pictures. Well we haven't done that one time yet so I still have that to look forward to.

BUT for now, we've got a few more little trips, mostly work related to take before end of the month. I will try and post more soon with some better and more interesting pics.
